Yorgos Ziavras Conducts ÉRMA Ensemble in Debut at Kölner Philharmonie

OPER WUPPERTAL PRINCIPAL conductor Yorgos Ziavras, already familiar with the stage of the Kölner Philharmonie, now returns to lead his contemporary music ensemble in its debut concert at the venue—one of Europe’s most prestigious concert halls.

ÉRMA Ensemble, under the baton of its chief conductor and co-founder Yorgos Ziavras, will present Vortex Temporum by Gérard Grisey, as well as works by Salvatore Sciarrino and Chaya Czernowin. The program also features the world premiere of “Pizza Crunch” by composer Éloïse Løvís Hübner.

The concert is thoughtfully moderated by actor Malte Arkona, guiding the audience through a concept centered on stars, planets, galaxies, and the perception of time.
